SCRPXN Studios Terms of Service

1. SCRPXN Studios

SCRPXN Studios is a creative audio studio based in North Carolina, United States.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase a product or service, or enter into an agreement with SCRPXN Studios.

By using the website or making a purchase, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Accounts

Certain services and purchases require a SCRPXN Studios client account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity performed through your account.

You may not transfer, sell, share, or provide your account to another person for their independent use.

SCRPXN Studios may restrict or terminate accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Mix & Master

SCRPXN Mix & Master is currently offered at $750 per song.

The service includes mixing and mastering of the material submitted within the agreed project scope.

Standard turnaround is approximately 5–7 business days and begins only after SCRPXN Studios has received:

• the required payment,
• the required project/audio files, and
• the completed Record Intention Brief or equivalent required intake information

Turnaround estimates are not guarantees when delays are caused by missing materials, client inactivity, technical problems outside SCRPXN Studios’ reasonable control, or changes in project scope.

5. Revisions

Each Mix & Master purchase includes two revision rounds.

One revision round means one organized and consolidated set of feedback submitted for the project.

Additional revision rounds are $50 per round.

Requests that materially change the approved project scope are not treated as ordinary revisions and may require a separate quote before additional work begins.

Examples include new recordings or stems, arrangement changes, production changes, extensive tuning or editing, vocal comping or alignment, substantial repair work, material file replacements, or a new creative direction after mixing has begun.

SCRPXN Studios will communicate any additional charge before proceeding with out-of-scope work.

6. Exceptional Project Complexity

Sessions involving unusually high track counts, extensive vocal stacks, significant repair work, or exceptional complexity may require a custom quote.

When reasonably identifiable before work begins, SCRPXN Studios will communicate the revised scope and pricing before the project proceeds.

Clients will not be intentionally surprised with unapproved overage charges after work has been completed.

7. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information, complete and usable files, final or appropriately prepared performances, and timely feedback.

You are responsible for confirming that you have the legal right to provide and use all recordings, beats, samples, stems, compositions, artwork, and other materials submitted to SCRPXN Studios.

SCRPXN Studios is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete files, missing materials, unclear instructions, or delayed client responses.

8. Client Inactivity

If SCRPXN Studios requires information, files, feedback, or another response from you, SCRPXN Studios may make up to three reasonable attempts to contact you using the contact information associated with your account or project.

If you do not respond after those attempts, the project may be placed on inactive hold.

While a project is inactive, no further work is required to occur and any previously estimated turnaround period is paused.

Payment is not refunded because of client inactivity.

If you later return, SCRPXN Studios may resume the project subject to current availability, the condition and availability of retained files, and the original project scope.

9. File Retention

SCRPXN Studios may retain project files for up to one year after project completion or the last meaningful project activity, as applicable.

After that period, project files may be permanently deleted without additional notice.

Clients are responsible for maintaining their own permanent backups of recordings, project files, delivered masters, mixes, stems, and other materials.

SCRPXN Studios is not a permanent archival or backup service.

10. Deliverables

Unless otherwise agreed, Mix & Master deliverables may include:

• 24-bit mastered WAV at the session/native sample rate
• 320 kbps MP3
• 24-bit unmastered final mix WAV
• clearly labeled final files
• instrumental, acapella, clean, or performance versions when applicable and requested within the original scope

Additional deliverables outside the agreed scope may require additional payment.

11. Digital Products

SCRPXN Studios sells downloadable products including FL Studio templates and related documentation.

Digital products are licensed, not sold as intellectual property.

Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of the template design, routing systems, presets, documentation, branding, graphics, or other SCRPXN Studios intellectual property.

12. Digital Product License

Unless a product-specific license states otherwise, a purchase grants one person a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for personal and commercial music creation.

You may use the template to create and commercially release unlimited music, customize it for your own workflow, and temporarily share an active song project with a collaborator or engineer when necessary to complete that specific song.

You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, repackage, publicly upload, or provide reusable copies of the template or its component assets.

You may not extract and commercially redistribute the included routing, presets, mixer states, documentation, graphics, checklists, effect chains, or related assets.

You may not rebrand or minimally modify a SCRPXN Studios product and represent it as your own template or competing product.

13. Ownership of Your Music

SCRPXN Studios does not obtain ownership of your original songs merely because you use a SCRPXN Studios template or purchase a Mix & Master service.

You retain the rights you otherwise possess in your original music and recordings.

SCRPXN Studios retains ownership of its templates, documentation, branded assets, website materials, workflows, and underlying product designs.

14. Payments

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.

You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize the applicable charge before a purchase is processed.

SCRPXN Studios does not require or intend to store your complete payment-card information directly.

15. No Refunds: Digital Products

All digital product sales are final and non-refundable.

Because access to downloadable digital content may be granted shortly after payment, SCRPXN Studios does not provide refunds, exchanges, or returns for templates or other downloadable products.

This does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

16. No Refunds: Mix & Master Services

Payments for Mix & Master services are final and non-refundable.

This includes situations involving client inactivity, failure to provide required materials, changes of mind, or a decision not to continue with a project after purchase.

If SCRPXN Studios determines that it cannot provide a purchased service at all, SCRPXN Studios may determine an appropriate resolution consistent with applicable law.

17. Unauthorized Use

You may not use SCRPXN Studios, its products, downloads, accounts, or systems to engage in fraud, infringement, unauthorized redistribution, credential sharing, unlawful access, interference with the website, or other illegal or abusive conduct.

18. Third-Party Services

SCRPXN Studios relies on third-party providers for services including payment processing, website hosting, databases, email delivery, and private file storage.

Availability of those services may occasionally affect access or processing times.

SCRPXN Studios is not responsible for third-party outages or failures outside its reasonable control.

19. Website and Service Availability

SCRPXN Studios may modify, maintain, temporarily suspend, or discontinue website features when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, operational, or business reasons.

No guarantee is made that every website feature will be continuously available without interruption.

20. Disclaimer

Creative audio services involve artistic and subjective judgment.

SCRPXN Studios does not guarantee that a particular mix, master, beat, template, or other product will achieve a specific commercial result, streaming performance, audience response, label interest, or financial outcome.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SCRPXN Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, services, or digital products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

22. Changes to These Terms

SCRPXN Studios may update these Terms from time to time.

Materially revised versions will receive a new effective date or policy version.

A purchase remains associated with the policy version accepted at the time of that transaction.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
