Information We Collect

SCRPXN Studios may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, account information, project information, Record Intention Brief responses, messages, revision requests, uploaded audio or project files, order information, and support communications.

For purchases, payment information is processed by the applicable payment provider. SCRPXN Studios does not intend to directly store complete card numbers.

When you request the SCRPXN Record Prep Kit or subscribe to email communications, SCRPXN Studios may record your email address, consent status, confirmation status, and related delivery information.

SCRPXN Studios may also collect limited technical and security information necessary to operate and protect the website, such as request information, authentication activity, rate-limit information, and system logs.

On selected public pages, Vercel Web Analytics may process aggregate usage information such as event time, a sanitized public route, referring origin, approximate region, browser, operating system, and device type. SCRPXN Studios strips query strings and excludes account, checkout-return, tokenized-resource, unsubscribe, and API page views from analytics.

How Information Is Used

SCRPXN Studios may use collected information to provide purchased services and downloads, manage customer accounts and projects, process orders, communicate about purchases or projects, deliver requested resources, authenticate users, protect accounts and infrastructure, prevent abuse, maintain operational records, comply with legal obligations, and improve website reliability.

Aggregate public-site analytics may be used to understand site performance and six limited business interactions: template product views, Checkout starts, completed purchases, Mix & Master calls to action, confirmed Record Prep Kit opt-ins, and outbound visits to BeatStars.

Marketing communications are sent only where the appropriate consent or other lawful basis exists.

Project Files

Audio files, project files, stems, references, and related materials may be stored privately for the purpose of delivering SCRPXN Studios services.

Project files may be retained for up to one year after project completion or the last meaningful project activity, as applicable, and may then be deleted.

You should maintain your own permanent copies of important files and completed deliverables.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe.

SCRPXN Studios receives transaction information necessary to identify and fulfill purchases but does not need to directly store your complete card details.

Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy practices.

Hosting, Storage, Database, and Email Providers

SCRPXN Studios uses service providers to operate its infrastructure, including hosting, databases, private file storage, and transactional email delivery.

These providers may process limited information as necessary to perform services on behalf of SCRPXN Studios.

Current infrastructure includes Vercel for application hosting and privacy-conscious site analytics, Neon for database services, Cloudflare R2 for private file storage, Resend for email delivery, and Stripe for payment processing.

Email Communications

Transactional emails may include account, purchase, download, project, or requested-resource communications.

Marketing communications are separate from transactional messages.

Where marketing email is offered, you may unsubscribe using the provided method or contact SCRPXN Studios at hello@scrpxnstudios.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent SCRPXN Studios from sending necessary transactional or service-related communications.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

SCRPXN Studios may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for authentication, security, session management, and essential website operation.

Vercel Web Analytics is configured without analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or session replay. Vercel derives a daily anonymized visitor identifier from ordinary request data and discards that identifier after 24 hours; SCRPXN Studios does not install a separate browser-fingerprinting script.

To prevent duplicate aggregate events during one browser session, the site may keep a product-slug marker or a one-way purchase marker in session storage. Those markers are not sent as analytics event properties. Analytics provider payloads do not contain account identifiers or link events to customer account records.

Custom analytics events contain only low-cardinality business metadata, such as a public product slug or category, listed price, call-to-action location, or the destination label “BeatStars.” They do not include names, email addresses, account or transaction identifiers, payment details, form contents, project or file content, free-form text, or tokenized URLs.

How Information Is Shared

SCRPXN Studios does not sell personal information to advertisers.

Information may be shared with service providers that are necessary to operate the website and business, process payments, deliver email, store files, provide infrastructure, or comply with applicable law.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect SCRPXN Studios, its customers, its systems, or legal rights.

Data Security

SCRPXN Studios uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including private storage, authenticated access controls, secure connections, and limited-access production systems.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.

Project files are generally subject to the one-year retention policy described above.

Transaction, accounting, security, consent, and operational records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for legitimate business, tax, security, contractual, or legal purposes.

You may contact SCRPXN Studios to request reasonable access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you, subject to legal, contractual, security, and record-retention requirements.
